A lot of (my) railway photography is inherently boring and it becomes so easy just to upload it all and be damned. The only way around this is to constantly edit, looking to see what images no longer work for me. This raises the question about why I make the effort to do this photography in the first place and the answer to that can be found on a hook; railway photography is a bit like fishing (-not that I do). A grand day out, maybe stood in a field after a walk, listening to the sheep and admiring the landscape until the distant toot and steam heralds the arrival of my prey.
